A device that visualizes the factory network configuration and connected devices

　PFU's "iNetSec FC" is a device that can visualize the devices connected to the network and the network configuration. It can be used simply by connecting iNetSec FC to the network. The main target is assumed to be a factory network that connects machine tools and robots. A single device can manage multiple segments (up to 3 physical segments or up to 32 tagged VLAN segments).

Mechanism

Passive detection method that does not send packets for information to collect. If you want to know detailed information about the device, you can also collect active detection type information by sending packets according to the user's operation. In addition to the IP address/MAC address, for IT devices such as PCs, detailed information such as the manufacturer/OS/host name is identified using proprietary technology. Non-intelligent switching hubs are also detected using proprietary technology.
