・From the patient's diagnosis to the report to the capital, it is as follows. (1) Samples are collected at a medical institution or public health center, (2) Tested at a testing institution, (3) Results are known, (4) The medical institution creates an outbreak report based on the Infectious Diseases Control Law and submits it to the local public health center where the medical institution is located. Send (If the public health center collects the specimen, the public health center creates an outbreak report), (5) The public health center reports the outbreak to the capital (sends the outbreak report)

・The metropolitan government receives notifications of outbreaks from public health centers and announces them as the number of new patients. At 9:00 every morning, this notification of occurrence is collected for 24 hours from 9:00 on the previous day and counted as the current day.

・Even if you receive a positive diagnosis, the number of patients will not be counted unless an outbreak report is submitted from the public health center.

・At 16:45 every day, the status of the outbreak on the day is posted on the top page of the Tokyo Metropolitan Government website (link to the top page of the Bureau of Social Welfare and Public Health website).
