How do you access the Amazon S3 bucket via Direct Connect?

To connect to Amazon S3 using a public IP address in Direct Connect, follow these steps:

注:この設定では、Amazon S3 の Amazon Virtual Private Cloud (Amazon VPC) エンドポイントは必要ありません。オンプレミスのトラフィックは Gateway VPC エンドポイントを通過できないので、VPC エンドポイントは必要ありません。

1. Create a connection.You can select a dedicated or host connection.

2. Establish a cross network connection with the support of the network provider.

3. Create a public virtual interface for connection.

4. Set the end router to use the public virtual interface.For more information about the router settings, please refer to "How to connect a private network to the AWS public service using AWS Direct Connect Public VIF?"

When the BGP is launched and the connection is established, the Direct Connect router advises all global public IP prefixes, including Amazon S3 prefix.Traffic to Amazon S3 is routed via the Direct Connect public interface.Public virtual interfaces are routed through a private network connection between AWS, data center or corporate network.
