Use a soft reset and hard reset

　Windows 10 Mobile not only has basic functions as a mobile OS, but can also be used with a touch panel -equipped Windows 10 PC.In this series, we will introduce the Tips of Windows 10 Mobile, as well as seasonal topics surrounding the OS.

Press the button in order to execute the hard reset

「設定」の［システム］－［バージョン情報］画面にある［電話のリセット］ボタンをタップし、状況に応じて項目をタップしてから、［はい］ボタンをタップする

　If Windows 10 Mobile stops working for some apps, you can reset your device in some ways.If the OS works, reset from "Settings".At that time, if you select the [Erase SD Card] check box, you literally initialize the SD card and select [Delete Provisioning from the workplace] to delete the provisioning package provided in advance to the device.

　If the device does not respond, execute it in the following order.

［電源］ボタンを長押しすると、ロック画面が半分現れるので、そのまま下方向にスライドしてデバイスの電源を切る今回は筆者の使っているVAIO Phone Bizを例に紹介するが、お使いのデバイスによっては筐体左側に［電源］ボタンなどが配置されることもあるこの状態になったら、［ボリュームアップ］ボタン→［ボリュームダウン］ボタン→［電源］ボタン→［ボリュームダウン］ボタンの順に押すWindows 10 Mobileのリセットが始まるので、そのまま放置する。VAIO Phone Bizの場合、10分程度で終了した

電源を入れると普段より時間をかけて起動し、Windows 10 Mobileの初期設定を求められるMicrosoftアカウントでサインインすると、OneDriveからバックアップの復元をうながされるので、該当するデバイスのデータを選択すれば復元操作が始まる
