On September 14th, Seven-Eleven Japan announced that Fujifilm Business Innovation and the multi-copiers installed in Seven-Eleven stores would be renewed. As of the end of August, 21,215 7-Eleven stores nationwide have installed multi-function copiers (with some exceptions), and they will be gradually replaced with new machines from October. Installation is scheduled to be completed by the end of September 2022.
On the new model, when printing photos and document data on a smartphone using the dedicated app "Seven-Eleven Multi-Copy" (iOS/Android), the QR code displayed on the smartphone is sent to the multi-copy machine. It adopts a mechanism that automatically connects to Wi-Fi and transmits data by holding it over. It makes printing easier than ever before.
For photo prints, in addition to the conventional L size (89 x 127 mm), 2L size (127 x 178 mm) is also supported. It will also be the first convenience store multi-function copier to offer a "shuffle print" function. In addition, until now, when using postcards brought in, only "plain paper postcards" were supported, but the new machine also supports "inkjet paper postcards".
