Lenovo Japan will release the Android tablets "Yoga Tab 13" and "Yoga Tab 11" on August 6th. The estimated sales price including tax is 87,780 yen for Yoga Tab 13 and 42,900 yen (4GB + 128GB model) or 49,500 yen (8GB + 256GB model) for Yoga Tab 11.
Overview of the new modelThe "Lenovo Yoga Tab 13" is a 13-inch tablet with a stand that can be hung on a hook on the wall. It is also equipped with a Micro HDMI input terminal and can be used as an external mobile display for notebook PCs and smartphones.
Yoga Tab 13 (Shadow Black)The processor (SoC) is equipped with Qualcomm's "Snapdragon 870". The main memory is 8GB (LPDDR5X), and the built-in storage is 128GB depending on the model. The OS pre-installs Android 11.
The display is a 13-inch LCD with a resolution of 2160 x 1350 pixels. It also supports HDR (High Dynamic Range) display conforming to Dolby Vision. If you prepare "Lenovo Precision Pen 2" (sold separately), it also supports pen input.
Equipped with an 8-megapixel in-camera on the top of the display. Four speakers supervised by JBL are installed, and it also supports surround playback by Dolby Atmos. It has three built-in microphones, so you can operate the "Google Assistant" even from a distance.

The Micro HDMI input terminal supports HDCP 1.4, and it is possible to project video content with valid copyright protection. Display input is accepted while the tablet is activated. It is not possible to "start up only the display function". Since the main unit also comes with an HDMI cable, it can be used as an external display immediately.
Wireless communication supports Wi-Fi 6 (IEEE 802.11ax) and Bluetooth 5.2. Sensors include an accelerometer, an electronic compass and an ambient light sensor.
The body size is about 293.4 (width) x 204 (height) x 6.2 ~ 24.9 (depth) mm and weighs about 830g. The battery capacity is about 10,000 mAh, and it can be used for up to 12 hours (Lenovo measured value) after full charge.
