Lenovo's 16-inch laptop "ThinkPad X1 Extreme Gen 4" is a "Macbook Pro" for ThinkPad fans. Large screen size, powerful and suitable for editing photos and videos. It can be said that it is a machine that creators like. [See the photo] Lenovo "ThinkPad X1 Extreme" It's certainly not cheap, but it's worth it. If you choose the ThinkPad X1 Extreme, you'll get more than you paid. The biggest change with the ThinkPad X1 Extreme's fourth generation is the new 16-inch display with an aspect ratio of 16:10. The aspect ratio of the old model is 16: 9, so it looks like a slight difference, but in reality it is very easy to use if the screen space expands a little vertically. It's a perfect aspect ratio for laptops. In addition, a model with a screen resolution of 4K is also available, so it is easy to compare with Dell's popular model "XPS 15".
If you're a ThinkPad fan, you don't even have to compare it to Dell. This laptop has all the elements that make a ThinkPad unique. The only elements that disturb the plain black matte design are the small red label "X1" on the lid and the red trackpoint between the "G", "H" and "B" on the keyboard. The ThinkPad keyboard is different than the previous one (unlike the ThinkPad X220), but it's still pretty easy to use. The keystroke is 1.8mm, and it feels almost the same weight as the keys of recent PCs. But if you're not a ThinkPad fan, you might like Dell's adoption of an OLED display for the XPS 15. It's a pity that Lenovo couldn't be installed because the image quality is considerably improved only with the organic EL display. However, the three types of IPS liquid crystal displays (one of which has 4K image quality) achieve image quality close to that of organic EL. The number of ports is clearly higher than Dell. On the left are two USB-C Thunderbolt 4 ports, an HDMI 2.1 port (compatible with a 120Hz external monitor), a headphone jack, and an AC power port. There are two USB-A ports on the right side and a full-size SD card slot. Every laptop said that every laptop should have a full-size SD card slot. In fact, I can't remember which laptop was the last one I tested with a full-size SD card slot, so the Lenovo I continue to have is commendable (as with Apple, part of the cause of this situation. It is in the company).
