For: Windows 10
On Windows 10, you can place shortcuts called "toolbars" on the taskbar. There are three types of toolbars: "Desktop", "Link", and "Address", and a "New Toolbar" that allows you to register any folder.
Using these toolbars, you can quickly access [PC] or [Control Panel], or simply enter the URL to launch the default web browser and open the web page.
This TIPS introduces how to display the toolbar on the taskbar and quickly access various functions.
Right-click an empty space on the taskbar and select [Toolbar] from the displayed menu. A submenu opens, so select from "Desktop", "Link", "Address", and "New Toolbar" according to the purpose described later. A toolbar display such as "Desktop >>" is added to the right end of the taskbar (left side of the indicator area). It is also possible to arrange multiple toolbars by selecting another toolbar using the same procedure.
To hide the toolbar, select the selected toolbar again and uncheck it.
In a multi-display environment, this menu is displayed only on the main display (identification number "1") where the indicator area is displayed. Note that the toolbar itself only appears on the taskbar on your main display (desktop).
